Tachyon Security to Sponsor Dutch Women’s Cricket Super League
Tachyon Security will financially support the new Dutch Women’s Cricket Super League. The agreement applies to the 2023 season.
Amsterdam, 1 June 2023
The Super League is a new format aimed at further developing Dutch women’s cricket, narrowing the gap between club teams and the national team, and encouraging attacking batting. This is in view of the shorter forms of T10 and T20 cricket in general, and the upcoming T20 European Qualifier in particular. The latter tournament will take place in Spain at the beginning of September.
Tachyon Security CEO and Co-owner Rashid Shah comments: We are thrilled to extend our support to the new KNCB initiative, as it aligns perfectly with our vision for the advancement of international women’s cricket. The Dutch women’s team, having reclaimed its ODI status in 2022, has consistently demonstrated remarkable ambition, talent, and unwavering determination. These qualities resonate strongly with Tachyon Security, making our association with this initiative all the more meaningful.
“ We are excited to have Tachyon Security as our title sponsor for the Dutch Women’s Super League,” adds Subir Shrestha, KNCB’s Performance & Operations Manager. “Their valued support will help us to continue to grow the Super League and further develop women’s cricket in the Netherlands.”
